• 1970 played for Rod Stewart in The Small Faces (which later turned to The Faces)
• 1974 Wood made his own LP called "I'v Got My Own Album To Do"
• 1975 Woods longtime friend Keith Richards asked him to join  The Rolling Stones, and has been with them ever since.
